Portraits of Grace is a snapshot into the lives of the people at King’s Cross Church. As “kingdom minded, kingdom people,” we recognize God’s work in every detail of our lives. We invite you to meet the people of our church.

For college I attended an art school. Art school in general is a very hostile environment to our faith. A lot of my classmates would create art that was very against and offensive to Christianity, and it didn’t help that professors also encouraged it. Not only was I the only minority ethnically, but I felt like the only Christian. I felt so alone, and couldn’t connect with anyone. I became homesick and looked forward to visiting back home; but when I did come home, I felt disconnected from the church members because I had been away. Even in my home church I felt like an outsider. Coming to King’s Cross, I joined the Welcoming Ministry because I know how if feels to be the outsider, yearning to find community.
